Project Oasis
The strategic planning for the initial site of AMCAR Scientific's medical consumable manufacturing and production facility was detailed through Project Icarus; however, other world regions are also overly dependent on overseas manufacturers and suppliers that have drastic and dire effects on their healthcare supply chains. These regions also need dependable local solutions, and Project Oasis was created to begin researching and identifying the ideal locations for expanding AMCAR's manufacturing and production capabilities.
The teams crafting the strategic expansion initiatives in Project Oasis looked closely at the geo-political landscape currently causing uncertainty in the long-term reliability of the global supply chain system, and identified the following five areas that will be targeted for regional manufacturing and production facilities (The following list is in alphabetical order and is not relative to the priority given to the various regions):

AMCAR Scientific, a division of Open Lab Solutions, is currently evaluating these areas and is working to identify the specific site and logistic requirements that will be required. The end goals of Project Oasis are a multi-year, long-term program, and, at present, there is no precise timetable for when site announcements will be announced.
